Romantic drama portraying the rapid social change of the past 30 years in Taiwan through the perspectives of three intimate friends struggling with their own complex relationships: Aaron loves Mabel, Mabel loves Liam, and Liam is secretly in love with Aaron. It's the 1980s. Taiwan is still under Martial Law; a social revolution is set to take off. Mabel, Liam, and Aaron graffiti slogans in the corners of their school, publish incendiary poems in the school paper, and plot protest movements during morning assembly time. Later, as students in Taipei, they join the Wild Lily Movement, taking part in a sit-in to advocate for freedom and democracy. Revealed secrets strike a chord of betrayal and deception in the heart of their friendship, and the friends drift further and further apart...
