Animated French family film following a gang of painted characters in search of their true colours, hopping from different pieces of artwork in the hopes of finding their creator. Curious 14-year-old Lola is a member of the Halfies, a group of half-finished characters in a painting. In her world she is caught in a social conflict between her clan and the Alldunns, the ‘completed’ figures that arrogantly claim for supremacy. Wanting to know the reason why the painter created the different races, Lola journeys beyond the realm of her canvas in order to find the answer. She is joined by two others: an Alldunn named Ramo and the Halfie he’s madly love with, Claire.
