The Muppets travel to New York in the hope of getting their musical on Broadway only to find it a more difficult task than they anticipated. With a lack of finance, the Muppets must seek other employment. Kermit becomes a waiter and befriends the owner's daughter, much to the annoyance of Miss Piggy. This third entry in the Muppet movie trilogy features stunning musical numbers involving 100 Muppets and is an impressive blend of puppetry and live action. It was the last Muppet movie to feature the work of the late, great Muppet creator, Jim Henson.
