In "A Bao A Qu" we learn that novelist Shinpei Hasegawa wrote, to public acclaim, about an infamous murder that occurred nine years ago. He decides to pen a sequel to his hit novel, this time focusing on the killer's younger brother, Harumi. As Shinpei begins researching his subject and conducting interviews, reality and his novel's inner-world begin to merge, building to a shocking climax when Shinpei and Harumi come face-to-face.
