Angela Lansbury is perhaps best remembered for her role as Jessica Fletcher in TV's Murder, She Wrote but the 86-year-old has been dazzling audiences on stage and screen since the 1940s. Lansbury has won a startling five Tony Awards, six Golden Globes, and has been nominated for a myriad of other honours, including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress on three occasions, and nineteen Emmy Awards. She is pictured (above left) in 1949's Samson and Delilah.
