Opinions on movies are a lot like big-screen cinema itself. Some people have the Reservoir Dogs-style, tough, unflinching viewpoint. Some can initially point one way but surprise you in the end, like The Crying Game (you all know that lady was really a man, right?). Some are undeniably, unequivocally awesome, like The Godfather. And some are just lame, like Glitter or Gigli.

Anna: Loves gangster movies, South American cinema, and stuff that doesn't star Vin Diesel.
Amy: Tends towards musicals, formulaic rom-coms or bizarre foreign offerings with subtitles. Refuses to watch horror films.
Armelle: Loves animation in all its forms. Foreign film fiend as well as action movie lover provided they have a decent plot (rare).
Mike: Loves Jay & Silent Bob, but will watch anything in the cinema as long as it wasn't directed by Anthony Minghella.
