Best Thing: Watching Tony Stark perfect his suit
As an Ironman comic fan I would have seen it anyway. Tony Stark in the comics wasn't a standard superhero and Downey Jnr puts a nice spin on the character. A person who can spoil himself when ever he likes finds a new calling. But the transformation is not overdone, and Downey keeps the essence of the character alive throughout. It also deals with the moral issue of making and selling weapons and where they end up. Turning to the suit and it's abilities. Given the technology of today, Ironman looks quite believable, and Downey plays it all with a causal acceptance of the equipment and what it can do. His computer comes across well ( reminds me a little of KITT - of Knight rider). Surprisingly entertaining with great action scenes and a nice flow as the story intensifies. Jeff Bridges was great and must have had fun making this. Not polictical and won't stretch you too far. Just a lot fun. Worthy of a sequel. I want to see what else the suit can do.
