My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The acting and dialogue were excellent, and it was both funny & thought provoking.
It is certainly not a chick-flick or an action movie, but rather an insight into the life of a zany, fascinating and very watchable London girl and her friends.
Her character was a bit like a wackier version of Bridget Jones, and as with that movie, you are always wondering just what is she going to do next.
Being a Mike Leigh movie there were a few sinister undertones, and some social commentary, and it was interesting to see how she handled those situations, given her incredibly cheerful disposition.
Definitely recommended for people who like quality cinema.
